Compared to other brands, Apple isn't the cheapest around. They focus on making quality, user-friendly, innovative products. Cheap products are cheaply made, and in Apples case, they don't make cheap products.

Your best bet in finding one under $200 is to look out for these older models.

You can find a Powerbook G4 and iBook G4 for under $200 on eBay. These models are not made anymore, but they still make great cheap laptops!
